The digital magazine Actapesca News publishes works in the area of Fishing Resources and Fishing Engineering. Until 2018 it is hosted in the SEER/UFS System, under the name Actapesca. As of 2018  has its own website and DOI, when the name was added with the ending News. It is a continuous flow and aims to support researchers, graduate students and academics who seek to start or consolidate their scientific activities, through uncomplicated publication in an indexed and peer-reviewed journal. It is open access, registered with the DOI.
